The New York State Family Planning Training Center hosted a webinar focused on what’s new with practice guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In this webinar, Dr. Michael Policar, MD MPH, Professor Emeritus of OB/GYN and Repro Sciences at the UCSF School of Medicine provided an overview of the new CDC’s Quality STD Clinical Services and Treatment guidelines, and an update of several new practice guidelines from CDC. Dr. Policar reviewed updated recommendations related to providing quality STD services in primary care and specialty care settings and updates to clinical care guidance including updates. The 60-minute webinar took place on Thursday, April 29th at 1 pm EST.
