Are you or someone in your organization looking for an opportunity to grow your family planning counseling skills? Has your organization had turnover and is looking to train new family planning counselors?

The Training Center is partnering with Essential Access Health to offer another FREE Family Planning Health Worker Certification (FPHW) training opportunity. The certification is a nationally recognized contraceptive counseling course for health providers and educators. Participants learn how to counsel patients on all contraceptive methods to assist them in achieving their family planning goals, get true informed consent, and integrate STI prevention messaging. Best practices for complying with privacy and mandatory reporting laws while providing confidential sexual and reproductive health services in-person or via telehealth is also covered.

This certification is geared towards new staff, staff who have taken on new responsibility for counseling, and staff who need a refresher or would like to strengthen their skills in the field. The certification program will take place October 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th from 1pm-3pm EST. There is limited space so we encourage you to sign up today!
