Family Planning Providers joined the New York State Family Planning Training Center for this 1-hour overview of key elements of the 2021 Title X Regulations. Replacing the 2019 regulations, the 2021 regulations readopted the 2000 regulations with important revisions to ensure access to equitable, affordable, client-centered, quality family planning services for all clients, especially for low-income clients. In this webinar, we reviewed the key changes between the 2019 and 2021 regulations, including reinstatement of the requirement to provide nondirective pregnancy options counseling and removal of the requirement to maintain strict physical and financial separation of abortion services. We also reviewed new provisions in the 2021 regulations that expand access, quality, and equity. Lisa Schamus, MPH, the Title X Training and Technical Assistance Lead for the Reproductive Health National Training Center, and Katie Quimby, Director of the New York State Family Planning Training Center facilitated the discussion.
