The New York State Family Planning Training Center hosted a webinar focused on addressing the reproductive health needs of LGBTQ+ clients in family planning settings. This interactive webinar included a presentation from Colleen Jason, a former intern with the New York State Department of Health family planning program who conducted an assessment to better understand the context and opportunities to ensure care is inclusive. The webinar also included a virtual roundtable featuring two family planning providers, Cathy Mota with William F. Ryan Community Health Center, Inc. and Cali Sweeting and Marissa St. Onge with Oswego County Opportunities, Inc. as well as Chance Krempasky, with Callen-Lorde Community Health Center, a leader in LGBTQ+ healthcare. The session took place on July 21st from 3 – 4:30 pm EST.
